Idash gui login service is not available at the moment

Issue/Introduction

After configuring iDash to use LDAP we are getting message when trying to login:

The login service is not available for the moment

 

 

Cause

Incorrectly turned on Self Signed Certificate.

Resolution

1. Login into iDash Admin Tool

2. Select 'Security'

3. Flag 'Use Active Directory'

4. Select tab 'Active Directory Configuration'

5. Under tab 'Shared Parameters', unflag 'Self Signed Certificate'

6. Click on the 'Diskette' icon to save change

Additional Information

 You may find following error message in the web-services.log

[ERROR] http-apr-18080-exec-9:RestExceptionMapper: Zero length BigInteger

java.lang.NumberFormatException: Zero length BigInteger

at java.math.BigInteger.<init>(BigInteger.java:411)
