Can security be set up in Endevor Quick Edit to allow the programmers and developers the ability to edit and generate elements but restrict the code movers to generate only and not allow them to update the elements?

Resolution

Yes. Endevor Quick Edit uses the Endevor security interface to verify that a user is authorized to perform the requested actions against an element. 

You can use the ESI Trace facility to determine if security is configured as desired at your site.
