Issue/Introduction
Why is my RECOVER job ending with an RC4 and not recovering the data set when using the SELECT command with VTOC parameter?
Resolution
By default, the Disk VTOC parameter on the SELECT command only processes non-VSAM data sets. You must specify VBRIVSAMY within SYSPARMS for VSAM data sets to be processed.
