Issue/Introduction

When right clicked on a name (or an icon) of a suite located under "Suite" folder on the Workstation, a context menu shows two menu items beginning from "Run" as shown below.

One is "Run Locally" and another is "Run with DCM <Registry Name>". What is a difference between them?

Environment

All supported DevTest releases.

Cause

If the Registry and the Workstation are installed on a same machine (VM), required DevTest components to run those menu are different.

Resolution

Run Locally: The Registry and the Workstation are required.

Run with DCM <Registry Name>: The Registry, the Coordinator, the Simulator and the Workstation are required.

If the Registry and the Workstation are installed on different machines (or VMs), the Registry, the Workstation, the Coordinator and the Simulator are needed for executing both menu.
