Cleaning up an ASM2 DSA on a test system

Issue/Introduction

I have a DSA on my z/OS test system. I have not copied the data sets to tape and I don't plan to. Is there a way that I can purge them from the DSA even though they have not been copied to tape?

Our recommendation is that you should just delete everything and build a new IPC.
It should also work to run $DA commands to EXPIRE all the files, then run $MAINT to delete them. This could be more work and will not give a clean result.
