Environment

Component:

CA Datacom/AD

CA Workload Automation CA 7 Edition

Cause

Determined that External Security (CA ACF2) was implemented for this CA Datacom Multi-User (MUF) as indicated by the MUF startup option SECURITY statements but that the ACF2 resource rule was missing for the MUF $DD-ADM profile.

Resolution

Once the missing ACF2 rule was added by their security administrator, the problem was resolved and the CA 7 installation jobs AL2DCA* ran to completion.

Additional Information

Also, confirmed via Datacom DDUTLITY batch utility report has the user (in this case, user DATACOM-INSTALL) did have the necessary $DD-ADM authorization. DDUTLITY report was run using this SYSIN:

-USR DATACOM-INSTALL,NEWUSER

-RPT RELAT,AUTHORIZATION,$DD-SEC-ADM(PROD,DD)

-END
