How do I update the Data Protection Search User password?

Issue/Introduction

How can I update the Data Protection (DataMinder) Search User (WgnSearch) password?

 

When I installed CA Data Protection (DataMinder) I created a Database Search user (WgnSearch) that is used to execute Data Searches in the CA Data Protection iConsole.  Due to our security protocols the password has been changed, how can I update the Search User password?

Resolution

The stored password can be updated in from the CA Data Protection (DataMinder) Administration console by going to the "Tools" menu and selecting "Manage Security Models". When the Security Models popup appears select "Modify" adjacent to your organisations security model. You will then see an option to "set credentials".
