Eclipse plug-in Performance seems degraded

Issue/Introduction

Why does Endevor Eclipse pluging performance degraded when more users are active ? How do I identify the cause ?

Resolution

This may result from network performance slowing from the additional users. Check the network performance between the Eclipse client machine and the USS Tomcat server. You can use networking utilities to see if the network is a bottleneck. One way is to use FTP to transfer a large file (same size as a problematic element) or HTTP to transfer a large file from the host to client. If that also shows poor performance, you will need to contact the network administrator for a resolution
