APM Errors Per Interval metric value does not match with the Errors reported in Error Tab

Issue/Introduction

Errors Per Interval metric value does not seem to match with the errors reported in the Error Tab, as per below screenshots:

Environment

DX APM 10.x

Cause

 

 

Resolution

The Errors Per Interval counter is entirely different than the Errors Tab. The data is coming from different data sources and is unrelated to each other.

a) The Errors Per Interval metric counts real exceptions such as HTTP Errors(404,500),Network exceptions etc..
b) Errors tab reports errors from Error Detector.
