Issue/Introduction

Introduction:

It is possible to download this certificate from Salesforce in formats other than .pem, however they will not successfully import into Identity Manager in a non .pem format.

Environment

Identity Manager 14.x

Cause

While adding the Salesforce.com certificate to the Java Connector Server, the following error may occur:

Resolution

If this error occurs in your environment please convert your Salesforce.com certificate into .pem format, which should resolve the error.  If the certificate is in the right format and still unable to import ensure your aliases are correct.
