Issue/Introduction

Modeled sequential dataviews in Datacom Datadictionary can be extracted running DDBTGLM . This article explains how the structure of an unmodeled sequential dataview can be extracted.

Ideal (all versions) 

Resolution

Unmodeled sequential file dataviews that have been created in Ideal can only be extracted by running the Ideal Source Transport Utility IDUTSTRN using the EXPORT DVW command.

The structure can be created in another Ideal environment  (or the same environment) running the IDUTSTRN IMPORT DVW command.
