Issue/Introduction

The sysgen panel(VSGMU105) allows a user to define a RPI with the same class and destination as another RPI task. This should not be allowed as this can cause deadlocks and other database problems. Especially if the jobnames and report names are the same or similar.

Resolution

APAR RO86358 corrects this problem and verifies that the class and destination combinations are unique and will not allow duplicate settings.

Additional Information

The restriction is already present in the CADDSPL task as it will not allow you to define SAPI tasks that read the same class and destinations.
