Issue/Introduction

When the NAS Auto-Operator profile triggers an emailgtw profile the subject in the emailgtw profile is not correct

Example

The subject content is supposed to change from “UIM:” to “UIM Esc L1” to “UIM Esc L2” as defined in the emailgtw profile

However, for each level of escalation, the subject doesn’t change and is always “UIM: $severity $hostname_strip $message”.

Environment

Resolution

Check if the 'Group Recipients' option is selected in emailgtw -> Properties -> General tab

Enabling this checkbox 'Group Recipients' will send one email with multiple recipients.

Only the first group's template and subject settings will be used, since only one email is generated

Can specify multiple e-mail addresses for each profile (see Profiles section of emailgtw).

When checking the Group Recipients option, one e-mail message will be sent to all recipients. All the recipients will appear in the To line in the e-mail message.

If not checked, one e-mail will be sent to each of the recipients defined.

Ensure the correct order of profile is configured in the Recipients section in the NAS Auto-Operator profiles configured to send the email message
