What are the steps needed after applying a CA Datacom DL1 Transparency (DBDT) PTF to support a new CICS/TS release?
Release: 12.0
Component: CA Datacom
CA Datacom DL1 Transparency (DBDT)
After any CA Datacom DL1 Transparency (DBDT) PTF to support a new CICS/TS release in z/OS has been applied, complete these actions for each CICS/TS environment:
1. Re-assemble and link edit the CA Datacom DL1 Transparency DLCVTPR using the parameter CICS=release.
Example: CTS 5.5 parameter should be “,CICS=7.2” while CTS 5.4 should be “,CICS=7.1”).
2. Ensure that the release appropriate IBM CICS SDFHMAC is specified in the SYSLIB concatenation.
See CA Datacom DL1 Transparency CABKSAMP JCL member BKCUS01 STEPB for sample assemble and link edit of DLCVTPR.
3. Ensure that the PTF provided CSD entries and load modules are installed into each online environment.
Refer to the CICS Transaction Server Compatibility Matrix

If unsure what parameters DLCVTPR or other custom modules had been assembled with, use the DBCGSPR utility to 'de-code' them, refer to CA DATACOM CORE 15.1 documentation section “Generating Source Members from CUSLIB content"
