Issue/Introduction

How to enable  generic messaging in NSX95* messages in response to failed logon attempts.

Resolution

To enable generic message for logon errors requires PTF RO81004 and running NMSAF.

The additional parameter  'LOGONMSG PCI' to the SXCTL file.      

 

When implemented the entry of unknown userids or incorrect passwords results in the following message:                                   

    NSX957 USERID OR PASSWORD DETAILS INCORRECT
