A part of control section on VTS to manage device access path from z/OS has rate timing issue. A contention may occur on a path mapping between a virtual device and z/OS. An actual device contention is not occurred, however, VTS recognizes it as a device contention and issued I/O error. This problem does not cause data loss. It can be solved by mount retry.
This is not a MIA problem.
