Issue/Introduction

Service Discovery does not work properly when % character is used in a condition

Environment

SOI 4.0 SP2 and older versions

Cause

when a % character is used in a Service Discovery policy in a condition, this breaks the Service Discovery process and delivers unexpected results.

Resolution

the scenario - % in condition in Service Discovery policy - breaks the CI discovery.

The % character needs to be given in [] bracket.

For example:

'Label' does not contain (ignore case) "[%]"

Disabling the policy does not delete the discovered CIs and there should be at least one policy enabled so that deleting a policy removes the discovered CIs from service.
