Why did I get the message ASX476A TREND DATA COULD NOT BE USED BY ALLOCATION DIRECTOR - EMPTY?

Resolution

By default, the Allocation Director feature of the BrightStor CA-ASTEX DASD Manager component, is activated upon startup of BrightStor CA-ASTEX. The Allocation Director utilizes information in the Trend Database when making its decisions for allocation redirection. If you do not want the Allocation Director feature to be active, set ALLOCINT=NO in your ASXPARM member. Otherwise, you should schedule a daily job to update the Trend Database from the Interval Database.
