Plan Analyzer for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

Plan Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PPA) utilizes the values in the PPA member of hlq.CDBAPARM or it reads the previously stored hlq.ISPPROF(RCPROF)
member in your ISPF profile for the profile values used by PPA.

Resolution

Plan Analyzer utilizes the values in PPA member in CDBAPARM for first-time users only. If you are an existing user of the product, Plan Analyzer reads the hlq.ISPPROF(RCPROF)
member in your ISPF profile for the values.

The only exception to this rule is if you are an existing user, but begin using a new release of Plan Analyzer for the first time and there are newly created parameters on this release.
In this situation, Plan Analyzer will look at PPA member in CDBAPARM since it cannot find these values in your hlq.ISPPROF(RCPROF) member.
