Issue/Introduction

The DRAS Repository Agent modules in View and Dispatch have link attributes

of Re-entrant (RENT) and Re-useable (REUS) so their object code should only

be loaded in the DRAS address space once, and then reused.  Currently they

are being re-loaded and used at different locations every time a user clicks

on the "Go" Button in the Report Find dialog for searching in text reports.

This uses unnecessary resources and over time can hit a limit of the Find

Module's "Use Count" for the application.

If the Use Count of 32,767 is reached, an IBM error message CSV002I

REQUESTS FOR MODULE <Find Module> EXCEED MAXIMUM USE COUNT is generated and

all user search attempts will fail after that time.

Environment

Release: OUTDRA00200-11.5-Output Management-Distributed Repository Access-System
Component:

Cause

An error occurred during the processing of a LINK, XCTL, ATTACH, or LOAD
macro. The contents directory entry (CDE) use count, indicating the number of
requests issued for a module, has exceeded the maximum use count that the
system allows for a module. The maximum count is 32767.

Resolution

 APAR #: RO95406

Product: DRAS       Release: 12.2        Solution #: 27        Type:

OS: OS           Group: OMXCOM GBL SUP 1

Title: CSV002I LOAD LIMIT ERROR FROM CAHASFND FETCHES

Additional Information

DRAS must be recycled to reset the Use Count for the Find Module to 0.

So the workaround is periodic DRAS recycling.
