Resolution

CleverPath Reporter has 4 different view modes in which to view and configure a report.

  1. Design view

Design view is used for creating new reports and editing existing ones. When creating or opening an existing report, the report's Design view displays first. After the elements are added or changed, open the other views to see the result.

  2. Partial view

Partial Results view shows a snapshot of the report on a sample amount of data. The default sample size is 100 rows which can be changed in the Source Buffer Options dialog. All summaries, breaks, and totals are calculated based on the sample.

  3. Page Layout view

Each report has a two-level design. The upper level (Design view) contains the details, value fields, and other fields in the report's body. The underlying level (Page Layout view) contains the page headers and footers and any logo or graphic appearing on every page.

  4. Print preview

Displays the entire output of the report and exactly how it will output if sent to the printer.
