We did a clean install of UIM. IN UMP we are seeing none ascii characters that look like light bulbs and cicrles with ? (question marks) how do we correct this?

We did a clean install of UIM. IN UMP we are seeing none ascii characters that look like light bulbs and cicrles with ? (question marks) how do we correct this?

Cause

Corrupt temp data

 

Environment

UIM 8.XUMP 8.X

Resolution

 
 

1) deactivate wasp
2) rename the following directories
wasp\work
wasp\webapps\root
3) delete the contents of the
c:\windows\temp
or
/tmp
depending on UMP os
4) from your back end SQL server drop the tmp/liferay table if it exists
5) clear your browser history from the beginning of time
6) set the loglevel = 3 and logsize = 35000 on the wasp probe
7) clear the current wasp.log and portal.log
8) activate wasp and test
