NO BIND -- NON-SHARED ENVIRONMENT

Issue/Introduction

When generating and binding server programs,  getting “NO BIND – NON-SHARED EVIRONMENT” error.

Cause

Settings in PARMLIB

Resolution

Two possible solutions: The error can be caused if the variable TIRCSHAR in PARMLIB(TIRHE) is set equal to N. Change to Y will resolve the problem.  The second possible resolution would be to check any recent system modifications to Gen datasets.  Check custom changes to libraries after PTF’s were installed.
