Environment

CAPM 2.8 on Centos 6

Cause

Perl was not installed.  This can be confirmed by running the following commands:

  • /bin/perl -v
  • /usr/bin/perl -v

Resolution

The resolution would be to do the following:

  • Install Perl
  • Uninstall the existing failed installation
  • Reboot the system
  • Then reinstall CAPC

Additional Information

3.0 + have a different mysql install methods that don't require perl.  So this should not be an issue in versions 3.0 and above
