EZT release 11.6 now requires a PDS/E library for the CBAALOAD library

Issue/Introduction

Why is the load library for Easytrieve release 11.6, CBAALOAD, now required to be a PDS/E library?

In the past, the loadlib for release 6.4 was a PDS.

 

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

Easytrieve release 11.6 now uses a C compiler, which requires that the CBAALOAD for r11.6 to be a PDS/E library instead of a PDS library.
This is a restriction of the C compiler rather than a design constraint of the Easytrieve product.
