Do we have to use L1RIMINT if we are only using the RSVP component?

Issue/Introduction

There are several LPARs with one production LPAR using both ASM2 and $RSVP and another production LPAR using only the $RSVP component.

With respect to the latter, do I need to use CAIRIM to initialize L1RIMINT if I'm only using $RSVP there?

Resolution

The L1RIMINT program is used to load the dynamic hooks for ASM2 only. RSVP will not utilize these features so you do not need to load L1RIMINT on the system that only has RSVP.
