RC/Update for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

When using the RC/Update for Db2 for z/OS (RCU) RB function (RI Browse) with a number of tables already RELATED using "REL" and "SYNC ON" is entered,
are the rows of data that were read prior to the "SYNC ON" re-used or does it re-read the child tables to extract all the corresponding rows.

Resolution

The RB SYNC ON processing does not cause child table data to be re-read. The child table's data is fetched when the table is originally selected for display.
Turning SYNC ON/OFF should cause no additional data fetching to occur, neither should scrolling. All data associated to a "NEWLY" selected table is fetched
before the data is displayed, and no further fetching or re-reading should occur.

Additional Information

The SYNC (Synchronization) function operates with the REL and CUR functions. These functions are only available when actually viewing/editing data with the RB( RI Browse)
and RE (RI Edit) table data options respectively.
