Events raised a cleared at the same time in CAPC.

Issue/Introduction

Events are getting raised and cleared at the same time.

Environment

CAPC 2.5 through 3.0

Cause

Using multiple event conditions, raise and clear rules in single threshold profile will cause this problem.

For example, client want Minor alarm for Utilization>60, Major for Utilization>70 and Critical for Utilization> 80.

He may create single threshold profile with all the rules as below.

Resolution

Instead, create different profiles for different rules. The below screenshots shows examples for CPU, you can create similar threshold profiles for memory.
