How to enable history tracking for policies.

Issue/Introduction

History tracking keeps track of the changes made to the policies. You can enable history tracking for 'Event based policies' only.

CA Client Automation - All Versions

 

 

Resolution

To enable history tracking do the following:

  • Right-click the Policy and select Properties.



  • In the 'Policy Designer' window enable the checkbox 'Enable History Option'. Specify the number of days you want to maintain the history and click OK.



  • Once History tracking is enabled, it can be viewed in the 'History' folder of the policy.
