Issue/Introduction

When the UFO batch utilities such as IOXMAINT or OXFORMAT are used to extract or print PAINT panels, the output shows the 8 character panel name appended with 'P000' and may also show 'P001' and 'P002'.

Environment

Release:
Component: UFO

Resolution

PAINT panels are stored in the IOX dataspace file named PNTPNL with a key length of 12 characters.

The first 8 characters are the user defined panel name and the next 4 characters comprise the suffix assigned when the panel is created or modified by PAINT.

The first record written to file PNTPNL for a panel is given 'P000'.

If the panel is large enough to require additional records in file PNTPNL, the additional records are assigned 'P001' then 'P002'.
