Client Automation - Crash of process sd_server.exe

Issue/Introduction

Plugin SDServer could not start. There are 3 consecutive crash of process sd_server.exe.

In Windows Event Viewer Application, following event Error "Application Crashing Events" could be found :

 

Faulting application name: sd_server.exe, version: 12.9.0.338, time stamp: 0x55dd7b2d

Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.23418, time stamp: 0x5708a7e4

Exception code: 0xe06d7363

Fault offset: 0x0000c54f

Faulting process id: 0x1e3c

Faulting application start time: 0x01d2afa5e3c72318

Faulting application path: c:\program files (x86)\CA\DSM\Bin\sd_server.exe

Faulting module path: C:\Windows\syswow64\KERNELBASE.dll

Cause

This problem could be caused by a corrupted file under C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\DSM\ServerDB\SWJORDER

 

Resolution

1- Rename the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\DSM\ServerDB\SWJORDER as C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\DSM\ServerDB\SWJORDER.old

2- Start sdserver: caf start sdserver

The directory C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\DSM\ServerDB\SWJORDER should be created again.

 

 

Additional Information
