UNAB endpoint cannot connect to distribution server.

Issue/Introduction

UNAB endpoint cannot connect to distribution server. 

 

uxconsole -status -detail shows:

 

CA CM server status - not connected (updated: Sun Mar 12 19:12:07 2017) 

Reason : ERROR: Failed to get ssl credentials.

 

or

 

CA CM server status - not connected (updated: Sun Mar 12 19:35:15 2017) 

Reason : Security exception

Cause

These errors indicate that the communications password, or more specifically the password for the +reportagent tibco user on the distribution server, is not set correctly.

Resolution

To resolve this use the following command on the UNAB endpoint, where <password> is the correct password, to set the correct password.

acuxchkey -t -pwd <password>
