CA Dispatch Upgrade job DSB0R60R abends with a U3134

Issue/Introduction

We are upgrading to release 11.0 of CA-Dispatch and the DSB0R60R job is abending with a U3134 in the TABX step. We are also seeing DC208001L 1111 error messages.

Resolution

When this abend is received, it is usually the result of a problem with the .TEMP library created in STEP 8 of the upgrade. Or, it's a problem with the actual database files that the DSB0R60R job is running against.

To resolve, go back and rerun STEP 8 of the install (job DSB0COPY) to recreate the .TEMP and .COPY libraries making sure that you point to the RUNNING 5.1 or 6.0 LOADLIB for the database files being upgraded.

Then, after the libraries have been re-created, lay down a NEW SET of database files that were taken after a clean shutdown of Dispatch, and start the upgrade process over again at the beginning of the DSB0R60R job.

* NOTE * Because during this upgrade process modules are created and punched into other libraries during execution, it is very important that you have STEPLIB cards in the upgrade JCL.

* NOTE * When you run the DSB0R60R job, make sure that the LOADLIB symbolic points to the 11.0 loadlib and that the OLDLOAD symbolic points to the .TEMP library created when you rerun the DSB0COPY job against the correct libraries.
