Issue/Introduction

When running an AE command job with a .bat file which contains the command NET START <service name> , the job fails with "access denied 5".

 

 

 

 

 

Cause

The owner of the job does not have permissions to start a service as a non-admin user.

use Administrator account as the owner of the autosys job
