Issue/Introduction

Is there a command within MICS that will provide an overview of the MICS configuration with unit name(s) and products installed?

Environment

Release:
Component: MBAS

Resolution

Issue the CONFIG command from any MWF panel for a quick view of the CA MICS complex.

The CONFIG command provides a scrollable display of a MICS complex.
The display includes the shared prefix name for the complex and for each unit,
the unit prefix name, components installed in the unit, and SYSIDs of data processed in the unit.
This command is helpful for users who are not familiar with the MICS complex naming convention and structure.
It is also a helpful command to execute to ensure you are in the correct complex if there are multiple production
and/or test complexes on one LPAR.
Any obsolete units and components listed in the CONFIG report should be removed using the appropriate
PIOM checklists found in sections 5.11, 5.12, and 5.13.
