Issue/Introduction

Receiving errors in ESP:

ESP218E MEMBER 'AAGENTDF' NOT FOUND IN DATA SET <hlq.esp.parmlib> 
ESP219E The Above error occurred when opening Agent Definition Table 

Cause

What happened is when ESP on the DR system was restarted (not quiesced).  Distributed jobs queued took off and started executing on production 
ESP agents.  

Our normal process is removing all the agents from parmlib member AGENTDEF and then ESP is started. When ESP came up we saw these errors and it looked like AGENTDEF was renamed to  OLDAGENT and ESP was looking for AGENTDEF which had all the agents removed.

Resolution

Make sure to clean up the commq file before restarting ESP by starting ESP with a CQFORMAT.
