Trying to set the lpar weight using CA OPS/MVS Hardware Services (HWS) and getting the following return code and reason code for the SETATTR command:
14:34:22 on 03/20/2017:
/>OI HWSTEST (val = 50 in script)

Running under OPS/MVS server - OPSOSF is address space/acid in Top Secret.
These commands were used to define security:
TSS PERMIT(OPMOSF) IBMFAC(HI$RV.ALL.ENTITIES) ACCESS(UPDATE)
TSS PERMIT(OPMOSF) IBMFAC(HI$RV.ENTITY.GROUP.) ACCESS(UPDATE)
TSS PERMIT(OPMOSF) IBMFAC(HI$RV.USER.AUTH) ACCESS(UPDATE)
I have verified the HISRV parms were set correctly for:
HWISAFPF=HI$RV
HWISAFCL=FACILITY
The Hardware Interface System (HIS) log indicates that the request failed due to failed access to IBM Base Control Program internal interface (BCPii). OPS to HiSrv Top Secret security rules appear appropriate, however the HiSrv to BCPii security is missing.
Check the messages in the Hardware Interface System (HIS) log.
We recommend reviewing this documentation to check or set up the necessary security:
