CA Output Management Document Viewer

Issue/Introduction

We have upgraded to MS Office Professional 365 and are experiencing issues with Document Viewer. We can logon and display reports.  However, we are unable to send email from DocView to Outlook 2016.  Users who are still on MS Office Professional Plus 2013 are not having any problem sending emails.


In DocView, when we try to email a report, we get an error stating Unicenter Output Management Document Viewer Executable has stopped working and a second message from Microsoft Outlook stating Unicenter Output Management Document Viewer exited without properly closing your Outlook data file xxxxxxxx. 'Microsoft Outlook' must be restarted.  If the message error recurs, contact support for 'Unicenter Output Management Document Viewer' for assistance. Then the DocView App crashes and closes.

The DocView App has been reinstalled, installed on a New PC and a Repair run on MS Office and this did not resolve the problem.

Cause

The crash happens in Microsoft code.

Resolution

 This problem is resolved in Office 365 version 16.0.7329.1045 and higher.
