When are MSDM changes effected for the userID that was modified?

Issue/Introduction

Once maintenance is performed for a userID in MAI Session Definition Maintenance (MSDM) those changes have to be effected.

Environment

OS:  z/OS.

Cause

Resolution

MAI Primary Menu changes can be modified using the SOLVE:Access MSDM (MAI Stored Definition Maintenance) function, which is accessed

either via main menu option A.AC.MS our via shortcut /MSDM.

For example, a userID has a session added and another session renamed on /MSDM.  To have those changes effected, a SOLVE:Access

region logoff and logon is required for the target userID.
