Issue/Introduction

Creating Adapter Templates that can be reused can help standardize BSI adapters and save time in building new adapters.

Environment

CA Business Service Insight 8.3.5.x and 9.0

Resolution

1. Add New -> Text file adapter

2.  Fill in the first step "General" and press next.

3.  In the next step, "Data Source interface", you will get the default template "NewFileDatasource".

4.  To create a new template, change the name of the Data Source Name and fill in the following two (2) fields: File path and Name pattern.
Once done, you will need to save it by going to the next step (press Next)

5.  Press on the icon "Save as Template".
