Issue/Introduction

Using the Resource Control Utility on the OS/400 to view checkpoint/trigger and job status.

You can use the Resource Control Utility, CAUNICTRL, to view the two Workload control tables: the Server table and the Jobs table. The Server table shows checkpoint and trigger information for every scheduling system that has been in communication with the Agent. The Jobs table can show job in progress- ajob is in "Started", or running, status (S).

Resolution

You run the Resource Control Utility on the OS/400 by entering the command CAUNICTRL or by choosing option 1 from the Support menu, GO CASUP.

Within CAUNICNTRL, you can view the Agent server table that shows checkpoint and trigger information.

And you can view the JOBS table by entering the command:

wr /j
