Issue/Introduction

CA Datacom Dataquery DQUSERMT utility fails with CCOND 0008 but no message. What is the error?

Cause

DQUSERMT will issue condition code 8 occurs when the SIGN/ON fails.

Either:

• the user SIGN/ON statement is missing from the input,
• or, the SIGN/ON statement specifies a user that does not exist,
• or, the SIGN/ON statement specifies a valid user but specifies a wrong password for the user.

Resolution

Provide the legitimate sign on.
