I cannot use/access CSM using Mozilla-Firefox

Issue/Introduction

A Chorus Software Manager user reports that he cannot use CSM with the Mozilla Firefox browser. Action items are shaded a.k.a 'greyed out' and inoperable. When expanding the Software Catalog and selects a branch the focus bounces from item to item and reverts to a higher level in the tree.

Environment

All supported versions of Mozilla Firefox.

Cause

The setting for dom.url.getters_decode_hash may be set to 'false'.

Resolution

In order to resolve this behavior do the following:

 

1)  In Firefox, type in about:config in the address bar.
2)  Look for dom.url.getters_decode_hash .
3)  Set it to true.
