Broker and Agent Services Unregistered After Upgrade

Issue/Introduction
When installing the new version of Harvest, we rebooted the server and checked the services to find out that the broker service was missing. This was not expected; please advise, did we miss a step or what?
Environment
Harvest Software Change Manager v12.x and higher
Windows platform
Cause
During the process of upgrading Harvest SCM the upgrade script will uninstall the previous version of Harvest and unregister the Windows Services for the broker and agent. After uninstalling the previous version, installation of the new version should include registration of the Harvest Broker service and Harvest Agent service as Windows Services. If this is done successfully you will see these services listed in Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services window, like this:
In some cases the new broker and agent services don't get automatically registered with Windows. When you view the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services window, the CA Harvest SCM services will not be listed there.
Resolution
You can manually register these services with the following commands:
bkrd -install
agntd -install
