Policy Server installation has been failed.

Issue/Introduction

When I have tried to install Policy Server, below error is output.

HostInfo Error:
                          Status: ERROR
                          Additional Notes: ERROR - java.net.UnknownHostException: _host.example.com: _host.example.com: unknown error

 

Custom Action:            com.netegrity.brlib.systeminfo.HostInfo
                          Status: ERROR
                          Additional Notes: ERROR -     class com.netegrity.brlib.systeminfo.HostInfo.install() runtime exception:

Release: ETRSBB99000-12.6-SiteMinder-B to B

Cause

This issue is related to not being resolve hostname and IP Address.

 

Resolution

Please correct /etc/hosts file before executing installer.
