CICS storage violations after upgrading Ideal to v14.

Issue/Introduction

We upgraded Datacom CICS Svcs and IDEAL to V14 in production yesterday.

We are now getting hundreds of storage violations in CICS that were not there previously.

Resolution

Readme Informational APAR #: RI30790 recommends to apply all maintenance before starting the upgrade.

"All published APARs for Ideal 14.0 should be applied after the  SMP/E install and before executing the configuration steps.  

 

Always review the corresponding README file and the recommendations. Always better to have the latest maintenance applied.
