What is the difference between the above two error messages.

Environment

Release: Disk™ Backup and Restore

Resolution

The differences in the two runs is:

3525 - No data sets were selected during DSCL selection. The only data sets found are cataloged to the Disk pseudo-volume.

2546 - There were no entries found in the catalog, not even pseudo-vol entries for ARCIVE data sets.

For the 3525, these is a Sysparm that can be specified:

DSCLOWRC
N – (Default) Cond. Code not reduced.
Y - If a FIND command can locate no data sets to process (3525), CC 4 is reduced to a 0.

Additional Information
