What does the "Dumping alert manager PIM table" message seen in the Spectrum VNM.OUT file mean?

The "Dumping alert manager PIM table" message is seen when a user clicks on the "Print contents of Local Trap Mapping Table" button in the Trap Management subview in the Information tab of the VNM model.

 

The following is an example of the output seen in the VNM.OUT file:

Feb 03 08:01:03 ALERTMGR TRACE at CsAlertMgr.cc(3618): Dumping alert manager PIM table:

   agent address = XX.XX.XX.XX at domain

   model handle = 0x200062

   agent address = XX.XX.XX.XX at domain

   model handle = 0x200062

 

This is the information Spectrum uses to associate a trap with the model in Spectrum. For example, using the above information from the VNM.OUT file, a trap received with an agent ip address of XX.XX.XX.XX is to be associated with the model in Spectrum that has model handle 0x200062.
