SD Job container remains in status Created or Terminating

Issue/Introduction

Under Software jobs, all new SD Job Container remain in state Created or Terminating

 

 

 

Environment

Client Automation - All versions

Cause

The plugin sdmgr_tm (Software Delivery manager: task manager) is responsible for

creation and deletion of Job Containers.

If a Job Container remains in status Created or Terminating, it could indicate that

this plugin is stopped or blocked.

Resolution

1- Check with caf status if plugin "sdmgr_tm (Software Delivery manager: task manager)" is stopped.

Start it if it is stopped :

caf start sdmgr_tm 

 

2- If it is not stopped try to restart with with :

caf stop sdmgr_tm (or caf kill sdmgr_tm)

caf start sdmgr_tm

 

This process could be seen in Task Manager like "sd_taskm.exe" with tm tm in command line
