Issue/Introduction

An online PL/1 Datacom DL1 Transparency (DBDT) Version 12.0 application which used to work now abends with ASRA after upgraded CICS/TS version.

Cause

Via the IPCS dump, it was determined that the Datacom DL1 Transparency (DBDT) DLCVTPR module in this CICS region had not been re-assembled and link edited using the parameter CICS=release for the specific release of CICS/TS.

Resolution

When a new release of CICS/TS becomes GA, Datacom DL1 Transparency provides a PTF with the necessary module updates and any new CSD entries. The user must then re-assemble the DLCVPTR module for each CICS/TS region using DBDT.
